Colleen LaFleur

Master Florist & Creative Force of Nature

Colleen LaFleur is the Owner and Creative Director of The LaFleur Collective—Atelier de LaFleur, LaFleur Event Planning + Decor, and LaFleur Plants + Botanics. With more than three decades of experience, she produces thoughtfully planned events that are precise, elevated, and deeply intentional. A Chicago native now based in the desert Southwest, Colleen brings big-city production expertise and a grounded, place-driven sensibility to every event she leads.

Early in her career, Colleen partnered with the Chicago Mercantile Exchange, The Wrigley Company, and the Merchandise Mart, producing events throughout downtown Chicago. She later held leadership roles at the Chicago Botanic Garden and served as Director of Development at the Tucson Botanical Gardens, building a strong foundation in fundraising strategy, donor relations, and mission-driven event production.

Rooted in both impactful fundraising events and meaningful life celebrations, Colleen’s work balances creative vision with seamless execution. Known for her calm leadership and attention to detail, she produces events that feel cohesive, personal, and effortless.

Outside of the studio, Colleen enjoys the outdoors and is rarely without her signature wide-brimmed garden hat- sun protection is a must in the Southwest. At the LaFleur studio, she is often joined by Ivy, her Italian Greyhound and official shop dog.

Calm, intuitive, and highly experienced, Colleen LaFleur produces events that balance creativity, clarity, and purpose- creating celebrations that feel as meaningful as they are memorable.

Megan Yock

Senior Sales Executive Turned Event Director

Megan Yock brings 11 years of development experience and a natural talent for building relationships, translating creative vision into reality, and producing thoughtfully designed events. As Event Director for The LaFleur Collective, Megan combines a background in sales and business development with a passion for interior design, creative spatial planning, and elevated event production.

Known for her vibrant personality, warm communication style, and trend-setting design background, Megan leads client relations and event production with a balance of creativity and precision. From developing design concepts and spatial layouts to coordinating vendors, managing production logistics, and overseeing the details that bring an event to life, she approaches every project with an eye for style and a commitment to seamless execution. Her ability to pair savvy design with strategic planning ensures that each event feels cohesive, engaging, and distinctly personal.

Beyond the event world, Megan finds inspiration in contemporary art, fashion, eclectic coffee shops, and travel to remote corners of the world. An Arizona girl at heart, she appreciates a well-made espresso martini (with tequila, naturally), and any opportunity to dance to reggaeton. When she isn't dreaming up her next creative endeavor, Megan enjoys exploring the outdoors with her son and her four-legged sidekick, Nancy.
