This wedding will forever take our breath away! Our team of talented designers are so proud of the unraveling of such sophistication, and were thrilled to once again be working on the stunning grounds of the Ritz Carlton at Dove Mountain. We are so grateful for Justine Millar Photography and Black Sheep Filmworks for capturing the gracefully draped ballroom in all white chiffon fabric, and the equally stunning ceremony floral by Atelier de LaFleur, which included grand glass clarets. Our classically gorgeous bride wore two beautiful dresses from GiGi Bridal Boutique, while her natural beauty was accented by Margarita from I Do Hair & Makeup Artistry. Throughout the night, the music of California’s own DJ Felli Fel and the outrageously talented hip hop violinist Josh Vietti, brought every guest to the white, acrylic dance floor. Outside the grand room, a backdrop of large, market lights accentuated the lounge furniture filled with artisan crafted couches and mirrored tables. The design team at Atelier de LaFleur planned this extravagant celebration in its entirety; and we cannot be more proud of an event that brought smiles to faces, and fireworks (yes, fireworks at the Ritz!) to brighten the eyes, of all those who joined in welcoming the new husband and wife. Please check out our time-lapse video, filmed by our very own, at the end of this blog!

With such a beautifully crafted range of details it is hard not to come away from these photos anything short of awestruck and inspired. As both the designers and the planners, we were thrilled to discover that the brilliant Amanda Rockafellow would be photographing this Loews Ventana Canyon wedding. Hanging in the trees and floor-bound lanterns brimming with candles, floral and ribbon decorated the ceremony and reception sites, reflecting the evening’s impressive grandeur with radiance. A recipient of The Knot's 'Hall of Fame' award, I Do Hair & Makeup Artistry provided the bride and bridal party with gorgeous makeup and hair styling. Brenn Hill and DJ Robert Michael took turns celebrating the night with music surrounded by acrylic chairs, exposed wooden farmhouse tables, metallics, and a variety of potted trees. Atelier de LaFLeur’s reception and bouquet pieces decorated these tables in the prettiest shades of creams and pinks that nature can offer. We cannot begin to convey the joy that weddings such as these bring to our hearts, and want to thank all of the vendors and once again congratulate the newly married couple!
The design team at Atelier de LaFleur cannot begin to express our appreciation for contributing floral and plant design’s to Google’s Zeitgeist Conference for the third year in a row! This year's event was located at the extravagant and gorgeous Omni Scottsdale Resort and Spa at Montelucia, one of the top hotels in the scottsdale area! With the inclusion of thousands of bare-rooted cacti and succulents in glass, a grand air plant wall and hundreds of native Sonoran desert plants throughout the venue, it was an event of design magnitude. Thank you to Sparks for your impeccable aesthetic and support, we are beyond honored!
It is our passion at Atelier de LaFleur to facilitate each of our events with gratitude and embody a sense of seamlessness. And what a pleasure to be a part of a wedding such as this to fuel that desire! We will forever swoon over Elyse Hall’s film photography, she captures the world in the softest and most enchanting of ways, and we are so honored to work with talent such as hers time and time again. Breathtaking and colorful floral and succulent arrangements and bouquets by Atelier de LaFleur filled the ceremony site. And as always, we are grateful for our continued collaboration with acclaimed vendors such as the Ritz Carlton at Dove Mountain to help create a stunning reception for this lovely couple. Gorgeous stationary by Brie Dumais Designs, amazing music by DJ Andrew Hansen and congratulations to the artists at Salon Blonde for their beautiful work with hair and makeup! Ending the night with a sparkler send-off is such a memorable way to brighten the festivities that much more with warmth in celebration of the newly married couple!
It is always exciting when a new couple seeks out our design firm to help create their special day, and it wasn’t any different for these two! Tucson Museum of Art, one of our favorite downtown venues, hosted the ceremony and reception and what a glamorous transformation! The beautifully crafted mid-century modern lounge furniture was one of the design focal points of the evening, accented with gorgeous floral by Atelier de LaFleur. Tesoro filled the desert air with tunes that continued the dancing well into the night, and as always, Margarita from I Do Hair & Makeup Artistry, did a fabulous job! The photography and videography by She.We Studio captured all of the style and beauty of the evening with such effortlessness. We find ourselves overjoyed to have been a part of an event of such allure!
After returning to the roots of their love, even a summer monsoon would not stop these University of Arizona graduates and their family from enjoying the day! Lottie Lillian photographed and Stepheny Keith of Black Sheep Filmworks recorded this thundering Ritz Carlton at Dove Mountain wedding, and our design team is overjoyed with the results. The ceremony arbor was adorned with soft champagne fabric and brimming with Atelier de LaFleur's trademark: native plants; and the design team is humbled to have contributed to this couple’s celebrations. What better way to end the night then the bride, whose make-up and hair was done by the talented Margarita from I Do Hair & Make-Up Artistry, and groom’s family and friends lightening the sky with a sparkler send off.
Spring has sprung in this Jewish, Catholic, Indian wedding, and what a beauty to behold! This New York couple celebrated their “I do’s” at the gorgeous Ritz Carlton at Dove Mountain, rated 5 stars by Forbes. With a stunning chuppah draped in billowy fabric and cascading marigolds, and a variety of yellow, red, and purple floral, a bridal dress (and wedding shoe!) change, snakes, and live music by TreJa Vu who would want this night to end? The ever-talented Amanda Rockafellow captured the gorgeous ceremony and reception floral and décor by Atelier de LaFleur, and our design team cannot be any happier with the photos.
Atelier de LaFleur recently styled the decor and floral for this intimate garden wedding at Agua Linda Farms. The beauty of the perennial gardens filled with blooming hollyhocks, climbing roses, bougainvillea, anemones, salvia and desert herbs allows your senses to escape the rugged landscape of the Tucson desert and immerse yourself in floral bliss. Mike and Brit from Brushfire Photography get all the credit for capturing images that we've been dreaming about ever since.

For this New Orleans style wedding, the couple wanted to stay as eco- friendly as possible. The centerpieces were planted with different varieties of succulents and beautiful fresh floral. Each place setting displayed planted aloes which doubled as the guests wedding favor. For the brides bouquet we used a mix of orchids, roses, succulents, anemones and wax flower. The groom is the owner and chef of The Parish (a southern fusion gastropub) so we used fresh herbs along with succulents and tied them together with moss to represent the bayou of Louisiana. LaFleur's wedding designer Brittany Pena created gorgeous florals for a recent wedding at the Tucson Botanical Gardens. Brittany accessorized the couple with beautiful plants and flowers including- peonies, air plants, succulents and aloes. Photos by Patrick Grimes

Tucson averages 11 inches of rain per year translating to about 48 days of measurable precipitation. Many clients choose Tucson because they know the odds are in their favor. Gorgeous mountains, beautiful desert flora, warm temperatures and sun! Well we know better...don't we... How does LaFleur Plantscapes make their New York bride feel like she's in the warm, sunny desert on a rainy day? We rally the team and execute the back up plan, bringing in over 100 tropical plants and cacti to create a mobile greenhouse inside of a clear tent.
Warm and cozy.

Last week we hosted a floral design class at the atelier! Given as a holiday gift by their husbands, these lucky ladies got to get their hands dirty and make some very advanced floral arrangements. They learned how to use the tools of the trade, how to cut and handle floral, as well as taping and wiring of succulents.
Interested in taking a floral workshop? We have a two-week series of classes coming to Atelier de LaFleur in August. This Foundation workshop includes eight design classes, a field trip to a local plant nursery and event styling/designing your own dinner party for 12 guests. The last class of the series is an introduction to tablescaping—a class in which we create two table settings, one minimalist and the other a country style, to teach how to combine flowers and table décor together . We recently styled a wedding out at Aqua Linda Farms in Amado Az. Our inspiration for the floral was to design arrangements and bouquets that complemented the brides sash. Not only did we design some beautiful and unique floral, but also installed decor and linens as well.
In light of the current Arizona Senate bill allowing businesses to discriminate against our LGBTQI brothers and sisters, we felt compelled to share one of our recent same-sex weddings. We are a downtown Tucson business that fully supports and is willing to serve our community regardless of race, religion, sexual orientation, gender and disability.
This story is so close to home because it starts with one of our own, Amelia, Lead Designer and Manager of Atelier de LaFleur who recently married her best friend and partner in life Callie. These two beautiful women met in the bay area 9 years ago and this summer they decided to tie the knot.
It was very important to both of them to create a ceremony that portrayed their spiritual beliefs. They specifically wanted to create an experience where everyone would feel included and the importance of the day would fill their guests hearts with unconditional love.
Guests were seated in a spiral and the wedding rings were blessed by passing them around to family and friends. They burned sage, called in the four directions of the Cherokee medicine wheel, the Seven Jewish Blessings were revised to represent their same-sex marriage and they displayed a ancestor altar.
Every detail of the ceremony and reception was styled by Amelia. Hand-crafted banners, table numbers and party favors were made by family and friends and decor props were provided by LaFleur.
Amelia designed a bouquet that included hand picked cotton from a field in Alabama, dahlias, poppy pods, delphiniums and lace leaf dusty miller.
Scout (American Bulldog), Luna (Olde English Bulldog), and Shelby (Olde French Bulldog) participated in the ceremony as ring bearers and additional entertainment throughout the evening.
LaFleur feels so honored to feature Amelia and Callie's wedding and we strongly believe their message of love and acceptance is universal. We will continue to support same sex weddings, serving the entire Tucson community.
